Deura Systems' policy is to provide customized solutions to our clients. We find that each practice is unique and, therefore, a unique solution has to be developed and deployed. The client will have the option to buy any of our services, but Deura Systems can provide an integrated solution that covers the entire management function of the practice.

Deura Systems

Deura Systems can provide an integrated system, where patient scheduling, medical records, book-keeping, billing and collection are connected as parts of the same software management solution. This integrated solution allows eliminating the overheads involved in moving from one process to another resulting in reduce costs, and at the same time, gives an opportunity for the practice to provide well managed and quality health services to the patients.

Either Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components, open source components or software components developed in-house are deployed. The medical practice may choose to automate only certain medical processes if they prefer, use software system they have already invested in, or pick different components of the automated processes from different vendors. Deura Systems makes sure that the different components of the modular system are connected properly, and are optimized for performance.

Once this solution has been deployed, Deura Systems can help in different administrative and clerical tasks that the practice might want to out-source. We can provide services such as accounts, payroll and billing/collection directly, or advise the practice to contact third party vendors who provide these services while making sure that the medical practice management solution is integrated seamlessly with the vendors’ system.

IT Services

The practice may want to use a practice management solution which it has already invested in, or it may be inclined to use particular software for which its staff already has training and experience in using. This may result in the practice using systems from different vendors. Deura Systems provides software development services required to customize and integrate software systems and services from different vendors.

Computer and Network Management

One of the biggest concerns that has been expressed by medical practices is the fear that in case of computer or network failure the entire operation of the practice will be impacted. Deura Systems realizes that this concern is well substantiated, and provides services to make sure that the health of the computer systems and network is maintained for reliable operation. Deura Systems provides consultancy services to deploy commercial off-the-shelf medical practice management software. We make sure that the software system you choose is well suited to the needs of your practice. We also provide services to configure the software system, and make sure that it is not under-utilized. We also provide services to automate and run other administrative functions of the office, such as payroll services and accounts management software.

Billing and Coding

Deura Systems has trained in-house experts who provide quality medical billing, coding and collection services. Depending upon the system deployed at the client's site (manual scheduling and book-keeping or computerized system), the data necessary to submit claims is either physically picked up from the client's site, or downloaded from the medical office. Generic edits are performed on the data and it is the information is then stored in the format that can is acceptable by the 3rd party payer, such as Medicare or healthdare insurance company. It is then be transmitted to a medical insurance clearinghouse, which then submits it to the healthcare insurance companies. Upon receiving the claims, the insurance carriers process the claim and send payment directly to the medical practice. Physicians get the payment usually within two or three weeks. Deura Systems also provides services to use 3rd Party practice management software which the practice might already have bought to submit claims directly to the clearinghouse, or the 3rd party payer.

Deura Systems offers training services to get the medical staff up to speed on the software system that the practice might already have. We make sure that the medical staff is using the system to its maximum potential for an efficient office operation. We also offer training on any system or component of the entire solution that we deploy.
